I'm Memory W., the breeder behind Smokey Pines Dachshunds located in Onalaska, TX. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions, while also focusing on bettering the breed in temperament and structure. We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always had a love for dachshunds, they are great for hunting and are amazing family companions. Mine loved to track when we hunted and got along well with my young kids, so I decided to start breeding them to give other families the opportunity to have such amazing companions.What makes your program special?
We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired, smooth, and wirehaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, wild boar, chocolate, brindle, black and tan, black and cream, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Memory has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $400 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes nonrefundable deposit. Pups come prespoiled and loved, dewormed and first set of shots. Appropriate registration paperwork, and a tote full of goodies to help with their transition. ANY AND ALL PAYMENTS MADE ARE NONREFUNDABLE. Deposit secures your puppy immediately once it is received. It will be to hold puppy for you and will not be refunded because you change your mind or purchase elsewhere. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND WILL NOT BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON!”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I couldn’t be happier with my Angel long hair dachshund I got from Watson’d Blue Line. All my questions were answered and recommendations for drop off of my puppy all the way to Manhattan was seamless. I was nervous being a first time puppy owner but this breeder calmed my nerves. My little 5 month old piebald male is healthy and full of energy. I can’t imagine life without him. Watson provided everything we needed.
