I'm Ashley S., the breeder behind Snacksville Yorkies located in Austin, TX. Our AKC registered litters are raised with love in our home with a big, grassy, backyard full of squirrels and birds. They are socialized with both children and dogs, are crate trained to reduce separation anxiety, have started potty training, and go outside to play as often as possible.
Q. & A. with Ashley
Why did you start breeding?
Our daughter is passionate about animals. We wanted her to experience and learn from the breeding process. We also think our Yorkies are awesome and wanted to continue their bloodline.
What makes your program special?
We raise all of our Yorkies in our home as pets. They live with mom and dad from birth until they are sent to their forever home. Our Yorkies are small and have parti coloring which makes them unique and are highly sought after.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tan and white, chocolate, tan and white, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Sugar is 12 weeks today. She’s getting her second round of shots and is starting to get very fluffy. We are considering giving her a trim before she goes home with you. I know you will love her and she will make a great companion. If you’re interested, we also offer breeding rights for an additional fee. She is a very rare color for a Yorkie and in demand as a designer pup. We’d love to meet you and are open for visits any day of the week.

Four weeks old today. These cuties are really growing. In the last 2 weeks they’ve taken their first wobbly steps, met their big sis and dad, experienced grass, and started eating solid food. Their back legs are getting stronger so they’re able to get around pretty well. Four more weeks of weaning and they’ll be ready for their forever home.

We’ve finally all agreed to name these 2 Sugar and Spice instead of Milk and Cookies. Today they are two weeks old. Spice (the boy) open his eyes first today. We expect their personalities to start showing any day. The weather in Texas is pretty warm so we’ll start getting them used to outside until it gets cold. They got their first deworming todayand didn’t seem to mind at all. Sugar has reached 1 lb and Spice is close behind at 15 oz.

Litter update on 17 Dec. 2024 •
Today Milky and Cookie are 1 week old. They are growing fast. They are asleep most of the time and so very quiet. Both Clover and pups are tolerating being apart a little longer each day. We expect their eyes and ears to open in another 7 days. That’s when we’ll start seeing a bit more activity and personality.

Snacksville Yorkies was very informative about the Yorkie breed. I loved how she gave us the opportunity to come and meet the puppies and play with them to make sure that they would be a great match for my family. Even now after purchasing him she still Is nice to check on him and answer our questions. Ashley and her family are very nice and generous. I would consider buying another Snacksville Yorkie in the future.
