I'm Lisa L., the breeder behind Snarky Doxy Miniature Dachshunds located in Hendersonville, NC. Snarky Doxy breeds for good health and temperament. We pair our dogs to create puppies that blend with your family. We work to get to know you and what your looking for. Our puppies are raised inside our home. They are raised around my dogs, family and friends.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    During the pandemic, I adopted two more dachshunds. After considering another puppy, I decided to have a litter of my own. As the first litter was being born, I looked up from the whelping box and said, "this is what I'm meant to do".

  • What makes your program special?

    Along with choosing pairings to create the best dog, I pride myself on giving the personal touch to my adopters. I answer questions during the adoptive process, afterwards and beyond. I stay in contact with my adopters as long as they are comfortable. I love lifelong pupdates!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lisa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
