I'm Kenny S., the breeder behind Snell's Superior Kennel Dobermann & GSP located in China Township, MI. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard & are part of the family. We prepare all our pups to thrive in their future jobs & homes. We decided to start a responsible, in-home breeding program in order to produce quality working dogs that also fit into a home setting. These dogs can do it all, and we make sure to foster that versatility in our puppies beginning from the moment they're born.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies include liver roan and black roan. Doberman Pinscher puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $4,000 - $7,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Our puppies also come with a health certificate showing normal heart, eyes, knees, and hips with no hernias, no cleft pallets or contagious/infectious diseases present. Kenny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Working Aptitude (WAE)

    Autumn and Kenny were both great to work with during my Doberman puppy purchase. My situation was a little bit different than most because I have a 2 1/2 yr male Doberman and 2 yr female Doberman and I was NOT looking to add a pup at the present time but always enjoy looking at Doberman puppies (you know how this ends!) I strolled down thru many litters and all of a sudden I saw this incredible litter of Dobermans puppies, looked at the entire litter and parents and was super impressed. When I first spoke with Autumn on the phone you could immediately hear her passion and love for her dogs and this incredible breed. Autumn arranged all the transportation logistics and had my pup van delivered to my house the next day using a great service which was a huge relief for me getting her home. The support after the puppy purchase has been outstanding!! Autumn has constantly reached out, asking for ear pics and providing very valuable ear advice, and also just asking how my little girl is doing. I only had one difficulty during the entire process, how do you pick a pup when every pup is gorgeous?? Great difficulty to have!
