I'm Wendy L., the breeder behind Snow Pond Farm located in Sidney, ME. We do our best to socialize & acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy & well-mannered puppies! We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, & loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

Why did you start breeding?
For almost 20 years my parents and I had an farm & we bred alpacas. During this time, we had Bichons. When our Bichons grew old & passed away, we wanted dogs that were a bit smaller. We fell in love with Maltipoos but had a very difficult time finding a reputable breeder & breeder that has their puppies in their home and someone that wasn't a scam. After waiting & finding the perfect Maltipoos for our family, we had others ask where we found our puppies because they were having a difficult time finding a good breeder. We kept hearing this over and over again so we started breed Maltipoos. We absolutely love it! They are so cute and we love watching them grown and develop their own personalities.What makes your program special?
We keep our parents and our puppies in our home, not in any form of a kennel. They are allowed to go throughout our home. They are part of our every day lives. Our dogs are loved and spoiled. Our puppies are loved from the beginning until after they leave our care. They are played with throughout the day; when they are old enough, we play with them outside. Our puppies are well socialized, meaning, they are exposed to a variety of different things they may encounter in this world: various people, animals, noises, smells, etc. We have heard over & over again that our puppies are so easy going, friendly and quick to learn.Where do your breeding dogs live?

+5Working with Wendy was great. She takes good care of the puppies, tells you about their personalities and you can trust you know what you are getting. They have fun running on the grass outside at Wendy’s, and she feeds them quality food. She will take the time to have a video meeting and is happy to answer any questions, text, talk, etc. I never felt pressured from Wendy to make a decision like some others. Her family is wonderful as well and my little girl really did have a bond and love them. Wendy helped me figure out everything I needed to start off right. She gave me a nice care package when I got my puppy to help me get started, and is happy to answer any questions to help me adapt to my new puppy.

Wendy was very responsive to all my questions. She sent pictures of Lulu and answered the many questions my son had for her. Wendy also worked with me to meet in a place that benefitted both of us with our locations. You can see how much Wendy, and her daughter, love and care for their dogs. Wendy was great to work with. She was quick to respond and sent me many photos and videos of our puppy, Tokki, while we awaited her arrival.
