I'm Adam M., the breeder behind Snowpeak English Labradors located in Sweet Home, OR. At Snowpeak English Labradors, we raise classic, blocky English Labs with calm, loving temperaments. Our dogs are family, raised in our home in Oregon with plenty of space to explore. We focus on health, structure, and early socialization for well-rounded companions.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for Labradors began in 2018 when I started working at Knotty Creek Labradors. Over the years, I developed a deep passion for the breed, learning the ins and outs of ethical breeding and puppy development. That experience inspired me to start Snowpeak in 2025, focused on raising exceptional English Labs.What makes your program special?
At Snowpeak, our Labs are raised in our home as part of the family. From day one, they’re loved, socialized, and included in daily life—not kept in kennels. They grow up exploring the outdoors, going on adventures, and learning to be confident, well-rounded companions ready for any lifestyle.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Adam
Adam has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Adam partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We begin matching puppies around 5–6 weeks of age, once we have had enough time to evaluate each puppy's temperament, personality, energy level, and overall disposition. Our goal is to thoughtfully place every puppy with the family and lifestyle that best fits their individual traits. While preferences are considered, final placement decisions are made with the long-term success of both the puppy and family in mind.”
Price
“Price includes AKC limited registration, first vaccinations, deworming, and early socialization in our home. Deposit is to hold your puppy and goes towards the price of the puppy.”

Litter update on 02 Sept •…All of the puppies had their final vet exams today, and we’re happy to report that everyone is healthy and doing great! They were all such good puppies for their exams. It’s hard to believe we’re already at this point. In just a couple more days, they’ll start heading home to their new families. We’re going to miss this sweet group, but we’re so excited for each of them and all the adventures ahead!

Litter update on 02 Sept •…A little rain couldn’t stop the fun today! The puppies experienced their first bit of Oregon rain, and everyone had their own idea of how to handle it. Some were perfectly happy exploring and playing, while others decided the best place to be was snuggled up together under the blanket. Another new experience checked off the list as they continue learning about the world around them!

Litter update on 28 Aug •…The puppies are 7 weeks old and having so much fun! They’ve been spending lots of time outside, running around, playing, exploring the yard, and enjoying all that puppy energy. It’s hard to believe we’re already getting so close to go-home day! We’re soaking up every minute with these sweet pups before they head off to their new families.

They’re spending their days playing, exploring, wrestling with their siblings, and building confidence through new experiences. Everyone is happy, active, and doing wonderfully. We’re loving watching them grow and learn each day!

They’re becoming more playful, curious, and adventurous every day, and we’re loving watching their little personalities start to come through. Everyone is doing great, and we’ll be updating each puppy’s individual photos later today, so keep an eye out for those!

Litter update on 03 Aug •…The puppies are 23 days old today and continue to thrive! They're becoming more adventurous every day, confidently walking, exploring their surroundings, and interacting more with their littermates. Today was another exciting milestone—they enjoyed their very first meal of puppy gruel! They were quick to figure it out and did a great job for their first feeding. Over the coming weeks, we'll gradually transition them to solid food while they continue nursing with Mom. They're also becoming more curious and playful, and we'll soon begin introducing new sights, sounds, textures, and age-appropriate enrichment as part of our Puppy Culture program. It's so much fun watching their little personalities start to shine through, and we can't wait to share more updates as they continue to grow!

Litter update on 31 July •…Our Iris × Brutus puppies are now 20 days old, and they are changing so much every day! All of their eyes are fully open, and they're becoming much more aware of the world around them. They're starting to find their footing, taking wobbly little steps, exploring the whelping area, and interacting more with their littermates. Their personalities are just beginning to peek through, and it's so much fun watching them grow more curious and confident each day. Everyone is healthy, steadily gaining weight, and spending their days eating, sleeping, playing, and cuddling in the puppy pile. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll begin introducing more age-appropriate enrichment, new sounds, different surfaces, and other Puppy Culture activities as they continue to grow into confident, well-rounded companions. We can't wait to share more updates as these little ones continue to develop!

Program update on 26 July •…Our puppies are now 16 days old, and they're reaching some exciting milestones! Their little eyes are opening, giving them their first glimpse of the world, and they're starting to take their first wobbly steps. It's amazing to watch them become a little more active and curious each day. Everyone is healthy, nursing well, and steadily gaining weight. Mom continues to do a wonderful job caring for them, and we're so happy with how this litter is developing. The next few weeks will bring lots of exciting changes as their personalities begin to emerge. We can't wait to continue sharing their journey with you through our regular photo and video updates!

We selected Iris for our breeding program because of her friendly temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and strong people-oriented nature. Rue is sweet, steady, loyal, and incredibly loving. She has a wonderful off-switch in the home and a naturally calm, dependable temperament. Her pedigree features imported Ukrainian lines, along with International and National Champions, combining classic English type with proven genetics. She comes from generations of accomplished dogs known for structure, soundness, and temperament. Rue loves the water, is confident and social, and does exceptionally well with other animals. She is just as content relaxing at your feet as she is enjoying time outdoors. She consistently passes on her calm nature, intelligence, and people-focused personality to her puppies. Rue is the foundation of our program and a beautiful example of the Labrador we strive to produce.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We started looking for a puppy and found good dog. At first, we weren’t sure that we were happy with having to make a deposit on a Puppy that we have not even seen, but we did get pictures and after reading all about them we felt good with them and felt that our puppy would be just what we wanted. We were right. She is now almost 5 months old and is about three times the size she was when we got her, but she is a sweet and loving puppy and very smart and extremely affectionate. We are extremely happy with her and our golden retriever just loves her and they are getting along very very well. She has made a huge difference in her life. I highly recommend good dog because they breed beautiful English labs.

+4Nala is doing great! And a joy to have. I think she's the smartest dog we've had. Sits, stays, fetches, all the basics you can ask of a 3 month old pup. Easy to crate train as well. Likes to play (terrorize) with our old dog. Separate them when she gets to be too much. Thanks again, love this dog!!
