  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up with dachshunds and started breeding over 15 years ago, turning my lifelong love for the breed into a small, dedicated program.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my program special is the love and care each puppy receives. I raise them in my home, focusing on health, temperament, and early socialization so they grow into confident, happy companions.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Leanna

Leanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Leanna partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies range from $1000–$2,500. Pricing depends on factors such as registration status, bloodlines, AKC registration, and coat patterns or colors. Every puppy is priced based on their unique qualities and lineage. 🐾💛. A deposit is required to reserve your puppy. 🐾 Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied toward the total purchase price. This secures your puppy and confirms your place in line to ensure a smooth adoption process. 💛.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I would definitely recommend Leanna to anyone looking for a dachshund puppy. She is kind and responsive and kept me updated throughout the process with photos of my boy, Franklin. He is the sweetest, most calm dachshund I’ve ever owned! I can’t imagine life without him :)
