I'm Megan L., the breeder behind Soap Creek Kennels located in Unionville, IA. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Megan

Megan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Megan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
