Meet the breeder
I'm Amy T., the breeder behind SoCal Shih Tzu GT-R located in California. We were able to find two great breeders who raised pups with gentle temperaments. My son started training these pups to eventually become his service dogs. Their ability to train and be affectionate became apparent quickly. That is when we decided to share our puppies with other families. We believe health, socialization, and good temperament are the most important qualities for furry companions to have. Our pups get several vet health checks, including prenatal care, first shots, and deworming, as well as a wellness check before they are sent home with their forever families. The sire is AKC registered and is 9 lbs. Both dam and sire have Embark DNA tests and have amazing health records. From the age of 3 weeks to the time they go to their forever homes, our pups are socialized and exposed to a variety of people and other dogs.

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price varies based depending on male/female and coloration. I will send updates and pictures and give the option to meet puppy before before adoption day.”

Amy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
