Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began after serving as a first responder, transitioning to a peaceful farm life to pursue my true passion for animals. Driven by a commitment to improve breed health and ethics, I deeply immersed myself in canine genetics and DNA profiling. Today, Soxaldoxies is the fulfillment of that dream—raising responsibly bred, structurally sound miniature dachshunds.What makes your program special?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alexandria partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Alexandria was great to work with. We had no hiccups and she was willing to drive half way to meet us. She had a nice gift bag for us of toys, food, etc. River is growing and thriving - his eyes continue to change colors but we love all the variations. Alexandria was such a great communicator and quick responder. It was a two hour drive for us so she was understanding I wanted to come by with enough daylight left to get home and settle down with our new puppy.
