I'm Dave C., the breeder behind SoFlo Labradors located in Ocala, FL. We are passionate about responsibly breeding Labs & look forward to sharing them with others who love them just as much as we do! Our dogs are part of our family first and foremost. We complete various health tests prior to breeding and we breed for quality, not quantity. This is something we're passionate about and love sharing our puppies with other families!

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of Labs while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.What makes your program special?
At SoFlo Labradors, we are committed to only breeding dogs that we feel are excellent representations of their standard and will make a positive contribution to their breed and to the families who love them. Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Dave
Dave has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Included in the price of the puppy: * First rounds of puppy inoculations * State of Florida Health Certificate * Will be microchipped & registration pre-paid * Pups will be AKC registered. Our deposit is non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind. However, you may be refunded or transfer your deposit if a litter does not produce the color/gender you have requested.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
