I'm Melody T., the breeder behind Sonshine Retreat Poodles located in Seneca, SC. I believe that everyone should have an opportunity to experience the intelligence and love of a calm, well-behaved Poodle. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.

Why did you start breeding?
My Standard Poodle achieved all levels of AKC Canine Good Citizenship and had agility training. As she got older, I really wanted her legacy to live on. After health testing and looking for just the right male we decided to have a litter of puppies. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.What makes your program special?
My pups are loved on from day one; no shortcuts are taken. I raise my puppies on high-quality food and all pups are taken to the vet for a thorough wellness check. They live in my home and are considered members of my family. I take pride in my program and look forward to connecting with you!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy, miniature, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
