I'm Julie D., the breeder behind South Ridge Aussies located in Elmore City, OK. Our dogs are bred for health, breed standard and temperament. They are a perfect combination of show and work lines. They are ready to go to work at all times, but also enjoy a good lazy day on the couch! All dogs live in our home and enjoy the crazy ranch life.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up always having an Aussie. When we were looking for a puppy several years ago, we had a hard time finding the quality that we wanted. We finally found several wonderful breeders and fell in love with Aussies all over again. We decided to start raising high quality Aussies so that other families can enjoy this loyal, beautiful, intelligent and charming breed.What makes your program special?
We are a family owned ranch that understands the importance of quality, honesty and integrity. We strive to raise Aussies that are not only beautiful but healthy and good minded. Our puppies are exposed to an array of ranch activities. We believe in quality, not quantity.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
