I'm Krystal B., the breeder behind Southern Barron Danes & Dachshunds located in Prairieville, LA. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

Krystal has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The above prices are for pet home pricing/limited AKC registration. We do occasionally offer full AKC registration with an approved application. Deposit is non refundable if buyer backs out, only refundable if something happens to the baby in our care.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Krystal was amazing to work with, and our puppy, Ledger, is perfect! Krystal responded quickly to all of my questions, sent pictures and videos regularly, and has excellent health testing for the Danes in her breeding program. Ledger was hand delivered to us, and he was already litter trained and comfortable with household noises, children, etc. Even our vet was super impressed with Ledger’s health and temperament when we took him for his first check up. I definitely recommend Southern Barron Danes for an overall excellent experience.
