I'm Inaru G., the breeder behind Southern Copper Sun Aussies located in Belton, TX. At Southern Copper Sun Aussies, we raise healthy, beautiful red tri Australian Shepherds in Central Texas. Our AKC registered dogs get loving care, early socialization, and genetic testing to ensure confident, well-rounded companions from responsible breeding.

Why did you start breeding?
As a veteran with PTSD, Australian Shepherds changed my life. Their loyalty, intelligence, and emotional sensitivity helped me heal. I began breeding to share that same companionship and joy with others—whether veterans, individuals with challenges, or anyone seeking a loyal, loving dog.What makes your program special?
We raise AKC red tri Aussies with genetic testing, early socialization, and enrichment in a loving home. Each pup is nurtured with care and purpose to ensure sound temperament and health. We don’t just breed dogs—we raise companions ready to bring joy, balance, and love.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Inaru
Inaru has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
"All puppies will have natural, undocked tails — we’ve chosen to honor the breed’s natural form in line with current trends and international standards. AKC Registration: • $1,500 — Limited (Pet only, no breeding rights) • $2,000 — Full (Includes breeding/show rights) Puppies will come with vet check, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, a go-home bag, and lifetime breeder support. Raised in-home and well-socialized with people, pets, and everyday life. A $300 non-refundable deposit holds your puppy. Deposit goes toward final cost. Includes prepaid AKC registration and first vet care."

Inaru may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 02 Oct 2025 •…✨ Puppy Update ✨ Two of our sweet pups are officially in their new forever homes! 💕 🐾 Ranger (now Maximus, “Max” for short) is already settling in beautifully. 🐾 Autumn (now Malena) is soaking up all the love in her new home. Both look so happy, healthy, and cozy — it makes our hearts so full to see them thriving with their new families. 🏡🐶 We’re so grateful to their adopters for giving them such wonderful homes. 💛

They’ve grown so much already—it’s amazing to see how different they look compared to when they were tiny newborns. Each one has their own little personality shining through, and they were absolute naturals in front of the camera. 📸💛

DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
