I'm Ashley H., the breeder behind Southern Doxies Ms located in Biloxi, MS. We are an in-home breeding program dedicated to raising happy, healthy, and well-socialized Dachshund puppies. We focus on temperament, health, and classic Dachshund charm, with parents carefully selected for quality and personality.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fostered for 15 years many different breeds but mostly pregnant mom and moms with babies. My love has always been dachshunds. It was always a dream of mine to breed Dachshund but I wanted to make sure I was improving the breed and ensuring great temperaments, health, and structure. I did research for many years and found a mentor and here I am!

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our puppies in our home with our family. The are loved and cherish family members from day one. They have their own bedroom, bed, jungle gym, ball pit, splash pad, backyard, but they also rule the whole house!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, black and cream, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
