Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Elizabeth partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“At Southern Drawl Dachshunds, we believe every puppy deserves the right home. We take the time to educate future owners about the dachshund breed, including their unique traits, care requirements, and lifelong commitment, along with screening questions like the lifestyle, experience, and circumstances of each prospective family to ensure they're the right fit. Puppies typically go to their new homes around 8 weeks of age after they've received the care, socialization, and foundation they need for a successful start.”

“This price includes, AKC limited or full registration (If applicable) first round of shots & dewormer, gift bag (small toy with mamas scent, small bag of current food, shot record, paperwork). Non refundable deposit that will go towards the final price of your puppy.”
Elizabeth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Elizabeth offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Elizabeth directly.

Updates on 2026 mamas! July 2026 Piper: babies are two weeks old and ALL babies have found forever homes. Everyone is doing incredible 🥹 September 2026 Tilly: officially POPPED and is absolutely growing some babies(she should be around 4 weeks max!) We Will have an xray for predicted puppy count in about 4 weeks since it’s her first litter. She should be Due in about 5 weeks! We will be doing a final confirmation of interest with our waitlist once we have an idea of how many babies we will be expecting! -Waitlist is very full with over 5 families including the update list. 💛🤍 September-November 2026 Paisley: we are STILL waiting on our girl to go into season. We are assuming since she technical skipped her previous heat cycle it has thrown off her schedule a bit! We are watching her daily but assuming she could go as long as her pre baby schedule which would land her window sometime between now and September. We know this is a large variable but this is all apart of this process, sometimes these mamas do their own thing and we just have to be patient and that’s okay! We will keep everyone updated but expect her babies sometime between September and November. 🖤🤎 -Waitlist is very full with 7 families. ☺️

Our sweet babies are TWO WEEKS old! This week they have -perfected eating -learned who mama is and LOVE her -JUST about to open their eyes 🥹 -started responding to sound! (Ears are opening) -started to “wobble” around their nursery! Everyone is still growing and thriving and right on track with where they are meant to be! This next week we expect to see eyes fully opening and ears as well! That’s when the fun begins and their personalities really start to show! We love them all so very much and have been so proud of them and mama. 🩷

Our sweet boys and girls are ONE WEEK old 🥹 This week they have -doubled their birth weight -learned who mama is and how to find her -perfected their eating habits -slept ALOT at this stage all they are supposed to be doing is eating, using the potty (with mamas help) and sleeping and they are all doing it so well! We are so proud of them and have absolutely no concerns for any of them continuing to thrive 🩷

It is so evident how much Elizabeth cares about the puppies! I loved the weekly updates and felt like I already knew Kirby before he ever came home! Elizabeth is very responsive and super helpful. I appreciate how transparent she was throughout the whole process! I would recommend anyone to get their new dachshund from Southern Drawl Dachshunds. When Kirby is ready for a sibling, I will be back!

We picked up our puppy, Honey, this month and have felt like we’ve known her since the day she was born. Elizabeth kept us updated every step of the way, from week one to pickup day, with photos, videos, and complete transparency about how Honey was doing. We received updates after vet visits and learned so much about Honey’s personality and progress along the way. Elizabeth also sent us home with goodies, items that smelled like her momma, and all of the documents we needed. Any time we had questions while preparing for our puppy, she was quick to provide helpful information and reassurance. We cannot recommend Southern Drawl enough. It’s clear our puppy was loved from the very start, and now that love continues with us. Thank you, Elizabeth!

I adopted my precious mini dachshund, Henry, from Southern Drawl Dachshunds, and it was the best experience. They provided me with weekly updates on my little boy, photo shoots so I could see his growth, and were such a help to me as Henry is my first puppy. Everyone I introduce Henry to LOVES him. They comment on his beautiful coat, his handsome face, and his precious personality. Honestly, ALL of his littermates are beautiful. When the time comes to get Henry a buddy, I’ll definitely be calling on Southern Drawl Dachshunds.

Our experience with Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful. I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Her communication, attitude, and the care that she showed throughout the entire time was top tier. Our sweet little Sipsey is the best puppy. Her personality and health has been exceptional since we brought her home. She is a smart girl and only took a few days to find her footing in her new home. That shows a good animal pedigree. I have had other dachshunds before and know the breed well. When we are ready for another, we will definitely be contacting Elizabeth. I would recommend Southern Drawl to anyone.

I was in the market for a dachshund and I found the perfect match with Elizabeth. Cash is the sweetest boy and is a very loving companion. Elizabeth was a huge help in the whole process. She helped answer all my questions and gave me good knowledge on the dog.

Southern Drawl exceeded my expectations. Not only was the process of getting Lulu amazing, they are still there for me whenever I need help or advice now, 2 weeks after I brought her home. They sent weekly pictures of my baby girl and updated me on all the changes she experienced each week!! Such an amazing breeder. She came to me already pretty fully potty pad trained and was already so good in her crate. She’s so great. I love my little spicy sausage and know I’ll be back if I ever want a sibling for little Lu!! Definitely recommend them and know your baby will be so well cared for during the first 8 weeks, and they’re always there for you afterwards!! Couldn’t imagine getting my new addition anywhere else.
