Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Elizabeth partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“At Southern Drawl Dachshunds, we believe every puppy deserves the right home. We take the time to educate future owners about the dachshund breed, including their unique traits, care requirements, and lifelong commitment, along with screening questions like the lifestyle, experience, and circumstances of each prospective family to ensure they're the right fit. Puppies typically go to their new homes around 8 weeks of age after they've received the care, socialization, and foundation they need for a successful start.”

“This price includes, AKC limited or full registration (If applicable) first round of shots & dewormer, gift bag (small toy with mamas scent, small bag of current food, shot record, paperwork). Non refundable deposit that will go towards the final price of your puppy.”
Elizabeth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Here are our sweet babies at THREE WEEKS!! This week babies have: • opened eyes and ears! •everyone responds to sound and light! •continued climbing with their weights! •started MOVING! everyone is up on all fours! •playing with siblings and finding their voices! This is the last week of being fully dependent on mama 🥹 next week we will introduce a lot of new to these little loves to help them transition away from mama! We will be trying “mush” introducing new areas to their nursery, starting puppy pad training, giving new toys, getting their first bath and nail clippings! We will be handling them A-LOT more now and getting them used to household noises and different dogs/animals other than mama! To start getting them desensitized to things! Everyone is absolutely beautiful and thriving! We are so proud of them and mama 🥹

Elizabeth was great!! She answered every question I had about my baby and sent the best updates weekly. I looked forward from hearing from her every week. She was so nice and never seemed annoyed with any question at any point or time i asked!!

It is so evident how much Elizabeth cares about the puppies! I loved the weekly updates and felt like I already knew Kirby before he ever came home! Elizabeth is very responsive and super helpful. I appreciate how transparent she was throughout the whole process! I would recommend anyone to get their new dachshund from Southern Drawl Dachshunds. When Kirby is ready for a sibling, I will be back!

We picked up our puppy, Honey, this month and have felt like we’ve known her since the day she was born. Elizabeth kept us updated every step of the way, from week one to pickup day, with photos, videos, and complete transparency about how Honey was doing. We received updates after vet visits and learned so much about Honey’s personality and progress along the way. Elizabeth also sent us home with goodies, items that smelled like her momma, and all of the documents we needed. Any time we had questions while preparing for our puppy, she was quick to provide helpful information and reassurance. We cannot recommend Southern Drawl enough. It’s clear our puppy was loved from the very start, and now that love continues with us. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was very responsive in a timely manner. Her life updates with pictures and videos we felt like we knew Buck before we even met him. Elizabeth was our first experience on good dog and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dachshund. She goes above and beyond.

Our experience with Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful. I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Her communication, attitude, and the care that she showed throughout the entire time was top tier. Our sweet little Sipsey is the best puppy. Her personality and health has been exceptional since we brought her home. She is a smart girl and only took a few days to find her footing in her new home. That shows a good animal pedigree. I have had other dachshunds before and know the breed well. When we are ready for another, we will definitely be contacting Elizabeth. I would recommend Southern Drawl to anyone.

I was in the market for a dachshund and I found the perfect match with Elizabeth. Cash is the sweetest boy and is a very loving companion. Elizabeth was a huge help in the whole process. She helped answer all my questions and gave me good knowledge on the dog.
