I'm Della N., the breeder behind Southern Heritage Aussies located in Glen S AI Nt Mary, FL. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.
Q. & A. with Della
Why did you start breeding?
We purchased Luna and then Casey a couple of years ago. I fell in love with the breed and everything about them. We wanted to share with the world all the fun and love that they bring into our lives.
What makes your program special?
Our parents, our pets. They live with us. Sleep with us. Do everything with us. They play with the grandkids and are an everyday part of the lives. They are not breeders to us. They are our pets.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
