I'm Jessica B., the breeder behind Southern Paws Mini Dachshunds located in Haughton, LA. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We just adore this breed and can't wait to share our love for them with you! We are passionate breeders and are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I always wanted to become a mini doxie breeder. I am living out my dreams!

  • What makes your program special?

    I don’t just love my dogs, I spoil them! We are the vet several times a year. Always up to date on worming, shots, vaccinations, and several physicals a year. They are like children to me. I love them so much!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, brindle, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Final payment is due when you pick up your new puppy. All deposits are required to reserve the puppy of your choice. Deposits are non-refundable.”

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
