I'm David E., the breeder behind Southern Staffies located in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Here at Southern Staffies we are dedicated to breeding with the highest of standards. We want to make adopting a puppy an exciting experience so all our puppies come registered with AKC and microchipped with lifetime membership paid so all you need to do is enjoy. We now have a live 24/7 puppy cam.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always had dogs as I grew up hunting with my father and we bred and trained Llewellyn setter’s and Brittany spaniels. Several years ago my son adopted a “Pit Bull” puppy while away at school in Tallahassee because of the breed he was not able to take him when he moved so we ended up taking care of him and we were introduced to our first Staffie (Tyson).What makes your program special?
We truly love this breed and we are dedicated to breeding the best puppy with focus on temperament and genetics. They all have full DNA health checks. We also start working on potty training and basic commands and introduced to different sounds and textures so that you get a puppy that’s confident well-adjusted. We consider all of our puppy parents as part of the Southern Staffies familyWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle and white, white and red, white and fawn, red, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from David
David has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes all shots and health certificates. All our puppies come registered with AKC and microchipped with lifetime coverage We also start working on potty training and basic skills. Non-refundable unless other arrangements are made but can be used towards a future breeding.”

David may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 20 Nov. •…The puppies in this litter are now 3 weeks old and they’re just getting their first taste of puppy food. They are all growing so fast. We have luve video cameras set up that we share with our new puppy parents so they can login to the cameras and watch them as they grow.

Litter update on 14 Oct. •We have 12 day to go before our girl Dakota has her puppies and she’s really starting to show.

Litter update on 14 Oct. •…Delta has 2 weeks to go and she’s starting to show. We’re expecting her to have her puppies next weekend. We’ll be getting her X-rays done this Friday to get a puppy count and I’ll share those pictures.

Litter update on 09 Oct. •…The puppies are now getting to where they look forward to their trips to the outside puppy area, we have a covered area with artificial grass that they can run around play and get some sunshine. There’s nothing like a Staffie!!!

Dakota line comes from Czech Republic and her sire She’s on the smaller size of the breed and her grand dam was the Vice European champion in 2017. Full pedigree available upon request. She just recently came 3rd for the terrier group in Show ai the IABCA show and she and Denali’s puppy from last year our girl Miley took Reserve Best in Show at the IABCA show in Apri;.
