Why did you start breeding?
My love for Cockers began when I got my 1st Cocker at 9 yrs old. That lifelong passion led me to extensive research into responsible breeding and puppy development. My goal is to help preserve the breed by breeding fully health-tested Cockers while giving each puppy a healthy, well-rounded foundation for life.What makes your program special?
SSC is built around health, temperament, and giving every puppy an exceptional start. We carefully paired fully health-tested parents and raise our puppies hands-on in our home using ENS, ESI, early socialization, and enrichment. Every puppy is loved as family and raised with purpose from day one.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown white and tan, red and white, red, buff, brown and white, brown and tan, brown, black white and tan, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Crystal has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Crystal partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Cooper is the kind of dog who truly has it all. He is incredibly loving and affectionate, with a calm, patient personality that makes him a joy to be around. He loves being part of the family and is very social, getting along wonderfully with adults, children, other dogs, and even cats. And like any true Cocker, he is definitely food motivated! Cooper’s gentle, easygoing temperament is one of the things we love most about him. He enjoys attention and affection but also knows how to settle down and simply be content with his people. In addition to his wonderful personality, Cooper is AKC registered and fully health tested, with all of his health clearances completed. He also holds OFA certifications for both his hips and eyes. Cooper brings together the qualities we value most in our breeding program: excellent health, a wonderful temperament, and the loving, people-oriented personality the American Cocker Spaniel is known for. She is incredibly loving and devoted to her family, but there is no question that she is a true Daddy’s girl—her favorite place is wherever he happens to be. ❤️ Oakley loves being active and especially enjoys a good game of catch. Whether she is playing, spending time with her family, or soaking up affection, she brings so much personality and happiness into our home. In addition to her wonderful temperament, Oakley is AKC registered and fully health tested. She also holds an OFA certification for her eyes. Oakley brings together so many of the qualities we value in our breeding program: excellent health, an affectionate nature, a playful personality, and a strong bond with her people. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
