Marsha N.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Marsha N., the breeder behind Southern Utah Goldens located in St. George, UT. We breed for sweet and connected temperaments, longevity, and health. Our puppies are LOVING and SUPER CUDDLY! They know commands sit, stay, and kisses and don’t nip at hands and feet. We use the rule of 7 introducing them to 7 surfaces, fear triggers/people/environments etc.

Q. & A. with Marsha

  • Why did you start breeding?

We wanted something our whole family could be involved in at some level. When we found European Cream Golden Retrievers, we knew we had found what we wanted to do. It has worked out very well for our family and has united us as a family. We love what we do!
  • What makes your program special?

We all work together to make sure every dog is happy and healthy! We focus on the family and home environment and socialize the puppies and acquaint them with the sounds and people of a busy household. We do early training and handling so the puppies are very well adjusted to every environement and challenge that they would face in their new home ie vacuums, fans, hair driers, yard equipment etc.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
