I'm Amanda K., the breeder behind Spanish Peaks Longhair Mini Dachshunds located in La Veta, CO. It is my passion to spread the joy and love of a Doxie! Growing happy, healthy Dachshunds to become new family members for you! We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. The happiest days for us are when one of our furbabies is adopted by a loving family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We decided to breed so that we can spread the joy we have found in this amazing breed and so that I can be home more with our precious furbabies!!

  • What makes your program special?

    We treat all our puppies as if they are ours! They get to run freely with all our furbabies and not just locked in a pen! They are fearless, strong, confident and healthy pups!!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the first round of shots, deworming and a small puppy pack! Our puppies are well socialized and treated as if they are our own!! I require the deposit to hold the puppy.”

Amanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
