I'm Julianne L., the breeder behind Spellcast Labradors located in Center Ossipee, NH. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. We breed with a focus on health and temperament, and we have years of experience in preparing puppies for their forever homes. We spend lots of time socializing and training our pups so they will have a great foundation of good behavior and neurological development.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve always been involved with animals. I went to an agricultural high school and worked on horse farms for most of my life. When I met my husband we decided we loved chocolate labs an it was the best adventure yet!
  • What makes your program special?

    I specialize in chocolate labs so all my devotions are focused.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julianne

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,500 deposit and between $1,500 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes first set of shots, microchips , vet certificate, akc registration. We like to call it a down payment because by the time the contract is signed we hope you are 100% on board and ready for your pup. We do not take any money until we have a pup for you.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
