I'm Paula S., the breeder behind Spindle's Little Treasures located in Randolph, TX. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. I have breed several breeds over the last 30 years. Starting in 2024 we went back to breeding Minature Dachshund and learning all the ins and out of the genetics. My husband and I both had several Dachshunds over the years, so naturally they are the breed we love and gravitated towards raising. They are tenacious, spunky, loyal, and entertaining as well as being the BEST cuddle bugs and bed warmers in the world! We know you will love an addition (or two! 😉) just as much as we do our's! ❤️

  • What makes your program special?

    Here at Spindle's Little Treasures, our babies are raised as a part of the family. All breeding parents are AKC and/or CKC registered. We also have a large German Shepard so they are accustomed to them as well. Our babies are raised indoors and begin life being born in our bedroom. After a few weeks, they transition to the living/dining room area. There, they are able to get accustomed to household activities and sounds. We work on socializing daily between us and our youngest daughter still at home, grand kids and adult chilren. Family and friends also drop in to play with the puppies during their growth. They begin litterbox training at about 4 weeks old. This helps them to transition to pottying outside easier and allows them to be maintained indoors until fully vaccinated at about 16 weeks. Our babies come vet checked, microchipped, 1-2 year health guarantee, and puppy pack that contains collar, leash, toy, chew treats, baggy of dog food to transition, paperwork, blanket that smells of their first home here with mom and siblings, and applicable travel tools if being delivered such as poop bags, disposible potty pads for safe potty area while traveling, and collapsible dish.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, sable, cream, red, wild boar, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, black and cream, black and tan, blue and cream, blue and tan, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, gray (blue) and cream, gray (blue) and tan, wild boar and tan, wheaten, wild boar and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Paula

Paula has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our pricing varies depending upon pet only or with breeding rights included. It also will depend upon whether pup is AKC and/or CKC registered, gender, coat length, color, and pattern as well as what they carry for genetically if breeding rights are requested. Deposits are non-refundable (Unless puppy passes while in our care or adopter is a CA resident in accordance with CA law, however, CA residents' USDA Health Certificate fee is NON-refundable if it has already been submitted to the state by our vet.) If any issue arises at vet exam, deposit refund is at discretion of breeder, depending on specific issue. Discount on puppy or transfer to another current/future puppy might also be discussed at that time, depending on adopter's preference and breeder approval.”

    Paula was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She not only provided additional videos and photos of our puppy, but also agreed to FaceTime before our investment. We traveled from WA to TX to pick up our puppy, so it was comforting to be able to have a FaceTime before we flew down.     Paula raises great puppies, my Penelope is such a good girl. Potty training has been pretty easy, save for a few accidents that were my fault for not paying attention to her cues. Crate training has been easy too. A little bit of whining and barking but that died down after the first few days, now she goes in and sleeps until 9am! I’ve never had such an “easy” puppy (as easy as puppies can be) and I’m very happy with choosing a puppy from Paula. If we’re on the hunt to get another ween anytime soon, I will definitely be looking at Paula’s pups first!

    I am very pleased with my entire experience with Paula from Spindle's Little Treasures and with Good Dog. A friend recommended Good Dog to me. I found "Hank" (now Milo) through Paula. Paula was quick to respond to my application and answered all of my questions throughout the process. She met me at the Dallas airport. It was clear from the beginning how much she cares for her dogs and wants the best for them. She has followed up to make sure Milo was adjusting well to his new home. Milo is the sweetest little dog and well behaved. He clearly got lots of love from Paula and her family and lived in their home and not a kennel. I'm so thrilled to have found a beautiful, healthy puppy who will be a beloved companion. I'm hoping to get another dog in the next year or so and will definitely plan to go through Paula again.
