• Why did you start breeding?

  I have always loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. I have breed several breeds over the last 30 years. Starting in 2024 we went back to breeding Minature Dachshund and learning all the ins and out of the genetics. My husband and I both had several Dachshunds over the years, so naturally they are the breed we love and gravitated towards raising. They are tenacious, spunky, loyal, and entertaining as well as being the BEST cuddle bugs and bed warmers in the world! We know you will love an addition (or two! 😉) just as much as we do our's! ❤️

• What makes your program special?

  Here at Spindle's Little Treasures, our babies are raised as a part of the family. All breeding parents are AKC and/or CKC registered. We also have a large German Shepard so they are accustomed to them as well. Our babies are raised indoors and begin life being born in our bedroom. After a few weeks, they transition to the living/dining room area. There, they are able to get accustomed to household activities and sounds. We work on socializing daily between us and our youngest daughter still at home, grand kids and adult chilren. Family and friends also drop in to play with the puppies during their growth. They begin litterbox training at about 4 weeks old. This helps them to transition to pottying outside easier and allows them to be maintained indoors until fully vaccinated at about 16 weeks. Our babies come vet checked, microchipped, 1-2 year health guarantee, and puppy pack that contains collar, leash, toy, chew treats, baggy of dog food to transition, paperwork, blanket that smells of their first home here with mom and siblings, and applicable travel tools if being delivered such as poop bags, disposible potty pads for safe potty area while traveling, and collapsible dish.

• What are the different breed sizes in your program?

  Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• What are the different breed coat types in your program?

  Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

• What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

  Our puppies include piebald, sable, cream, red, wild boar, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, black and cream, black and tan, blue and cream, blue and tan, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, gray (blue) and cream, gray (blue) and tan, wild boar and tan, wheaten, wild boar and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
