Q. & A. with Lauren
Why did you start breeding?
My interest in Australian Shepherds began as a teenager when I got involved in 4H and agility. Over the years I got into many other performce events with my Australian Shepherds and began researching pedigrees to learn which lines suited me best. After getting a couple exceptional dogs I began trialing them while researching raising litters and breeding before producing my first litter.
What makes your program special?
I devote my heart and soul into raising my litters. I spend years researching bloodlines, performing all necessary health testing, and trialing my breeding prospects before producing a litter. I raise my puppies following an extensive socialization program to ensure my puppies are fully prepared for anything life throws at them. I start all of my puppies on foundational training, crates, potty training. And I stay involved with my puppies families for a lifetime of support.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
