I'm Bethany P., the breeder behind Spots and Sploots located in New Port Richey, FL. Hello! I am Bethany,
Here at Spots and Sploots, we provide top-quality beloved companions that will provide you life long love and memories. We love each of our puppies to the fullest, and always make sure that they get the best lives possible. To provide the best pups possible, we take many factors into consideration from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, and even making sure to focus on their placement to ensure they’re going to loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with the best experience possible, leaving an everlasting memory of the day you chose and took home your furever baby.
Q. & A. with Bethany
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding four years ago when I got my first AKC male corgi from my friend whom is a breeder herself. After seeing how beautiful the entire experience is from being there the day he was born to getting to watch the first eight weeks of his life before bringing him home, I just knew it was something I wanted to do. I want to provide the best puppies to other families like she did for me.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is special because of the love that we put into it. We spend so much time with our puppies introducing them to just about everything we can to make well rounded dogs as they grow older. We practice daily household noises such as vacuuming, banging pots occasionally and speaking excitedly and loudly like children would. Our main focus is on proper health and health tests!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies are blue merle and white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include blue and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Winnie, mom
American Corgi
About Winnie
Winnie is as sweet as she is spunky, and she lights up every room she trots into. She’s full of playful energy and loves a good adventure, but she also knows how to slow down for cuddles and quiet time. Whether she’s chasing toys or snuggling up beside you, Winnie’s affectionate heart shines through.
She’s a deeply loyal girl with a gentle nature and a warm, loving soul. Winnie is wonderful with children, other dogs, and absolutely adores her people. Her nurturing, intuitive spirit makes her a perfect companion—and a devoted little shadow to those she loves most.
With her bright eyes, happy tail, and big personality in a little body, Winnie is the perfect blend of fun and affection. She’s truly the heart and soul of our corgi family, and we’re honored to share her amazing qualities through our breeding program.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
