I'm Ashleigh E., the breeder behind Spotted Feather Farm located in Holden, MO. Our dogs are bred with a focus on health, temperament and athleticism. All puppies will be exposed to many sounds and sights before going to their homes. While we love our colorful babies, the color is an extra on top of good health and temperament.

Why did you start breeding?
I originally went to K-state to become a vet in the large animal field. During my time there is fell in love with the breeding side of things and decided to make that my focus instead.What makes your program special?
Puppies will be exposed to many textures, sights and sounds while on the farm. Everything from farm equipment to many animals like cats and horses.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, blue merle, red merle, black, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Puppies come registered with ABCA and AKC, vaccinations, deworming, vet checked and start of socialization. Puppies are not priced on color and come registered and microchipped.”

Litter update on 21 Sept •…The trip too and from being microchipped, they were so tired afterward and slept so well. The car ride itself went pretty well too, it was almost 45 minutes each way and most of them slept or quietly sat around.

Litter update on 16 Sept •…Everyone got their first shots today! They did great, got some cheese so they didn’t even notice their pokes. Of course they had to have zoomies and ran circles around the table.

Litter update on 04 Sept •…Puppies got a good look at the cat this afternoon, Willow and bear were the most curious but no one was afraid. Also pups got to meet dad, who could not care less about them after the first sniff 😅 his priorities remains playing ball and getting love from his people.

Litter update on 01 Sept •…Puppies are 5 weeks old and finally got to meet our other female, storm. They all adored her and came over to see her over and over. Bear was especially curious and tried to get her to play! Puppies also got to explore a box for the first time and everyone loved it! So far all puppies are available and will be ready to go home in about 3 weeks.

Litter update on 27 Aug •First trip outside for the little babies! Was a little scary at first but they quickly got over it and are quietly playing with their toys.

Litter update on 24 Aug •4 week old update to the box! More toys for the pups and put in steps and a tilt to work on balance. Tunnel is on the way, just a little late.

Litter update on 17 Aug •Update to the box since pups are 3 weeks old today. Added some toys and a grass pad to start teaching stepping up and potty training.

About Storm
Storm is fun ball of energy. She’s constantly getting into trouble and making us laugh. Storm is a super brave girl that loves to meet new people and do new things.

About River
River is a piebald blue Merle with tan points. She is a sweet snuggle bug who has a ball addiction. When she isn’t wanting to play fetch she wants to sit in your lap. She carriers the genetics to produce Merle, piebald and saddle tan. River is ABCA and AKC registered.
