I'm Lori W., the breeder behind Spring Brook Farms, LLC located in New Ross, IN. Our vision is to bring the Standard to families and offer it true to the AKC Standards in a variety of colors and pattern. Our goal is developing the previously nonexistent English Cream Longhair Standard Dachshund. We also occasionally have tweenies available too.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up on a farm, I developed a lifelong love for animals. I was naturally drawn to the fascinating science of canine genetics and the thoughtful pairing of dogs to improve each next generation, bringing out the best qualities of the parents. While I love seeing the wonderful puppies we produce, my absolute favorite part of this journey is connecting families with the dogs of their dreams.What makes your program special?
Having raised Dachshunds for over 30 years, my goal these past 10 years has been to develop the standard long-haired Dachshund in shaded English cream—a color that originated in minis, making these dogs truly unique. Raised in our home with daily loving care from our family and grandchildren, our puppies are bred for sweet temperaments, sound health, and lifelong support for our buyers.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Lori
Lori has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lori partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“This price includes AKC Registration, Microchip and Enrollment in AKC Reunite, Vet Exam, 1st Vaccinations, De-Worming, Socialization, Initial Potty Training and Lots of Love! A deposit holds the puppy of your dreams until he/she is old enough to join your family. Deposits are accepted when puppies are a minimum of 2 weeks old.”
