I'm Brent & Edith P., the breeder behind Spring Hollow Cocker Spaniels located in Lebanon, MO. All of our dogs live with us in our home and other family members homes. We strive to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

    Our puppies include sable and white, sable, black white and tan, silver, buff, and buff and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Phosphofructokinase Deficiency (PFK), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Brent & Edith are wonderful and conscientious breeders. You can tell they really care about the breed and their puppies. I was able to travel to their home to pick our puppy, Lainey, up. Their dogs are beautiful and so friendly. We brought Lainey home and she is healthy and thriving. During the whole process Brent kept me informed with pictures and videos as our puppy was growing. The whole process was very easy. Lainey is a smart little puppy who is learning quickly.

    About 3 months after the sudden death of our much loved 13 1/2 yr cocker Murphy, I realized & hoped the thing that would help mend my broken heart was a cocker puppy. And so I started my search. The first 3 attempts ended up being scams. Discouraged I began to think I’d never find a honest website or breeder. Then one day my daughter text me about a website called Good Dog. I went on the site & was very impressed with the way their program works. So next I looked up breeders & the first breeders I found was Brent & Edith & they had a new litter of puppies. Plus they had black males which is what we wanted. I immediately contacted Brent & Edith. What I found through many, many conversations, was two people who were very knowledgeable about the breed, very concerned about bettering the breed, the health of the puppies they raise & the health of the 2 girls & 1 boy that they breed. Their dogs are family & in my mind, healthy happy adult dogs have healthy happy puppies. Brent & Edith do everything right for the puppies. They are kind caring people that take care of their dogs. They were willing to work with me & kept me updated on the progress of my puppy. I received pictures & videos of my puppy from the time his eyes opened to him starting to walk to going outside for the first time. I always thought I was right there watching him grow. They give each puppy alone time with one of them & they introduce them to new sights & sounds & most important, they socialize them with strangers & children. When we picked up our puppy they even had a bone with his name, Henry, attached to his collar. Of course I could go on & on but I hope whoever reads this understands the length Brent & Edith go for their dogs, the puppies & their customers. If you are at all thinking about getting a cocker pup, don’t think twice about getting one of their pups. I’ve never been unhappy about my decision & I don’t think you will be either.     I am so thankful to have found Brent and Edith! They were so kind and informative throughout the entire process of buying our dog. We picked out our Penny girl early on, and they kept us updated with pictures and videos of her as she grew, it was so special! They offered a convenient meeting spot for us to pick up our Penny as well. We’ve had Penny for a few weeks now, and she is the happiest, healthiest pup ever!!
