I'm Rhonda S., the breeder behind Springer's Corgis located in Fort Smith, AR. We have had corgis for over 30 years, with our first litter in 1995. My husband and I have loved the breed and wanted to give others opportunity to have and love the breed as much as we have. We have a few litters a year and all our Adult dogs are health tested and are our family pets.
Q. & A. with Rhonda
Why did you start breeding?
In early 1992, I met a friend that had a corgi a a barrel race, never I saw a corgi before. Meet the corgi, fell in love, and within the next couple of years we had 3! Most individuals, did not even know what a corgi was back in those days. The popularity has grown to know this awesome big dog, in a little body.
What makes your program special?
My goal in our program is to match the perfect home to our perfect puppies. I also say, I do not SELL our puppies, we PLACE our puppies. i have families that have owned numerous Springer's corgis throughout the years. This makes me happy to have repeat customers, and to feel the success of our years of hard work.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
