I'm Ana S., the breeder behind Squires Corgi Cottage located in Mishawaka, IN. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We strive to produce healthy, intelligent puppies that are able to integrate comfortably into a variety of age groups, households, and lifestyles.
Q. & A. with Ana
Why did you start breeding?
Through all that life brings our way, I have been fortunate to have a pet soulmate by my side. Our bond is one I truly wish for everyone. Through genetics and health testing, I hope to offer that long-lasting bond to everyone who brings home one of our puppies. As owners of a puppy mill rescue, we understand what it takes to prevent unnecessary health risks that shorten your time with your pet.
What makes your program special?
Luna is triple OFA certified- elbows, hips, and eyes! We have genetically tested for DM, EIC, PRA, SCID, and VwD with clear lineage. We will not introduce any genetic carriers to increase outcomes for longevity and health for all our puppies. Puppies are handled daily by our children and exposed to the other animals in the home. We also take puppies (safely) into public for socialization.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle merle and white, brindle and white, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ana was super supportive, knowledgeable and communicative. She made the extra effort to share lots of updates while we waited for our puppy to grow. We can tell he came from a really loving home and we are so grateful. He’s a happy healthy puppy with the greatest temperament. Ana made this experience amazing and we are in love with the newest addition to your family. Thank you Ana!
