I'm Kathleen G., the breeder behind St. Isidore's Australian Shepherds located in Johnson City, TN. We are a small farm in Northeast TN with a special love for Australian Shepherds. Our Aussies are both farm dogs and family pets that we always love to have with us. Our puppies are well-socialized from day one and handled daily by our family and friends. We want all of these puppies to go to loving homes. We aim to improve the breed with every litter we produce and demonstrate that Aussies can be wonderful family companions and farm dogs, provided they are well-socialized and regularly exercised. ❤️.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with our first Aussie and had a hard time finding a well-bred dog in our area to breed with her. We had to go at least two hours out.What makes your program special?
We love our dogs and we strive hard to make sure they are super social with different types of smells, sounds, people, and situations. We are trying to better the breed by breeding minimal white and making sure our breeding pairs have clear panels through Embark.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kathleen

Price
“The price includes papers to register ASDR, the first round of vaccinations, and standard vet appointments. Shots will be up to date for their age when they go to their new home. Dewormer as recommended by vet, puppy socialization, dew claws, and tails taken care of as well. We hope to be breeding AKC in the future. The deposit will go towards the purchase price. These deposits are non-refundable.”

About Winny
Winny is a fun-loving dog with a great herding drive. She has a wonderful on and off switch meaning she can go out and herd the sheep but also come in the house and lay by your feet to rest. She is a very loving and nurturing mom to her pups and always nurses and tends to her puppies. She has also been well-socialized and loves her human family.

+4I cannot say enough good things about Kathleen through this whole process. When we first came to meet our puppy, she was so kind and flexible with our schedule. Once Oakley chose us, Kathleen was remarkable at providing updates, photos, videos, you name it! She and her family were so kind. When Oakley came home, we had a few accidents and two nights where we woke up, but she has been doing amazing ever since.
