At StarBornYorkies we are a personal at home breeder and show exhibitor of healthy, championed, traditional Yorkshire Terriers. Our goal is to pass on the best of health, temperament and conformation to your family. Our puppy will be your new life-long family member. StarBornYorkies puppies are for pet only homes and go home with a signed spay/neuter contract.

Loretta has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“The price includes, up to date vaccinations, vet records, veterinarian health certificate, microchipped puppy, personalized puppy binder, and a generous essential go home package with puppy's essentials. The puppy purchase price includes a non-refundable Pick Puppy fee of $250.00 and a Puppy Hold fee of $250.00. It will be applied to the total sum of the cost of the puppy. The purchase price does not include Michigan State Sales Tax (6.00%).”
Loretta may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Sophia is a good natured girl, who loves walks with her human dad, camping, swimming, long naps, chewing bully sticks, neck and belly rubs. She loves treats, pets and snuggles from everyone. Sophia Is registered in both AKC and UKC. She has competed in both clubs and has earned her Grand Championship title.

Selina is a beautiful girl who came to us from multi-champion parents in Europe. She is a wonderfully natured young lady who's loving and concerning nature are a treasure to behold. She is a wonderful family member and an excellent mother. She has earned legs/credits towards her AKC title and also has earned her Grand Champion title in UKC. She is registered in both AKC and UKC and has all of her health and OFA certifications.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
