Starbound Aussies

Tigger M.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Tigger M., the breeder behind Starbound Aussies located in Charlottesville, VA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy, well-adjusted Aussies and we do so by breeding responsibly and raising the puppies with care to their development, wellbeing, and intelligence. We are very hands-on with our puppies, raising them in our home, exposing them to many different aspects of farm life, Puppy Culture, and puppy enrichment. We do not sell puppies based on color. We match new owner to puppy based on puppy's drive, and character and lifestyle/needs of owner. Making a good match between new owner and puppy is extremely important to us. We breed to ASCA standards and continued to be mentored by ASCA Hall of Fame Breeder Soundtrack Farms.

Q. & A. with Tigger

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into my small breeding passion after being mentored for over ten years by a top ASCA Hall of Fame Breeder. Part of my willingness to breed has been in response to so many poorly bred Aussies, bred for dollars, not for health, temperament, and athleticism.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes Starboard's breeding program special is our knowledge and experience with the Soundtrack lines, our continued relationship with Soundtrack and our dedication to matching each puppy with the right person for that puppy.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
