I'm Heidi S., the breeder behind Stark Creek Aussies located in Chestertown, MD. We are a standard Australian Shepherd breeder who strives to better the breed and find loving homes for our beautiful puppies. We hand-raise all of our dogs with love in our home. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality.

Why did you start breeding?
We have been around dog breeding our entire life and found a breed that would suit the needs of the people in our area. We wanted to put our passion for Australian Shepherds to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine! We have loved the process and enjoy placing puppies with loving, forever families.What makes your program special?
We raise not only working animals but also loving laid-back family pets as well. We are dedicated to always providing you with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Heidi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Contract & health guarantee
Heidi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Heidi offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Heidi directly.
