Margaret J.

Breeder of Pomeranians

Meet the breeder

I'm Margaret J., the breeder behind Stealurheart located in Hampton, VA. When I breed, I match dogs who compliment one another and contribute to bettering the breed. The blood lines I use have a long history in the show ring and have produced some spectacular Pomeranians. I am very proud of my program, the dogs I produce, and have loved competing along side them.

Q. & A. with Margaret

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell fast and hard in love with the Pomeranian breed through my first Pom. We were inseparable. Unfortunately he had some serious health problems. Since I was so in love with the breed, I set out to develop healthy puppies. I began studying all I could learn to accomplish this. I didn't actually breed my first litter until 10 years later, having spent an immense amount of time learning about this breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I focus on health, temperament, and creating beautiful puppies stopping at no limits to incorporate the best into each breeding. Each of our Poms are health tested before any breeding takes place and we make sure to hold true with breed standards. To ensure our puppies have the best start possible, we use Puppy Culture protocols and expose them to various situations so they grow up comfortable in the world.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
