I'm the breeder behind Steele Caliber Retrievers located in Mesa, AZ. We are a small hobby breeder that takes pride in doing health and OFA testing on all of our breeding dogs. Our focus is on producing versatile working, sports, service, & therapy dogs. We temperament test all our puppies at 7 weeks old to place them in appropriate homes that are best suited for them.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Omelette
Omelette is a wonderful performance dog. She has multiple different dock diving titles. She also has her novice barn hunt title, her BCAT title in Fastcat, and has started with disc and hunt testing. She has a wonderful on/off switch and can be the biggest cuddle bug couch potato at home. She has several siblings and half siblings who also are trained service and therapy dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
