Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth J., the breeder behind Stellar Aussies located in Asheboro, NC. My family and I love the breed and love helping families find their perfect pup. We raise our puppies using the puppy culture program and complete puppy aptitude testing at 7 weeks to help match puppies to the right home.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I did a lot of research and talked to other dog breeders. I grew up with dogs owning different breeds my entire life. I have fallen in love with the Australian Shepherd.
  • What makes your program special?

I only have a select few dogs that are part of my family. They are not just used for breeding. We go camping, jogging, and hiking with the dogs. They love being outside or hanging out inside.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Elizabeth was amazing! It was a tight turn around to pick our baby up, but the communication was stellar! Our baby girl Maple is doing great and loves her big sister Harley!

Elizabeth was so informative. She took the initiative to call instead of texting. I had the chang the date of pick up and she was so flexible with my dates. The most important to me was that I had all of the information for the do to take to the vet. She had it all in a packet. She gave me tips on things specifically for aussiedoodles. Just all around great experience.

Elizabeth was great to work with! She was very responsive and answered all of my questions. It is clear that Fern (formerly Lob) was well taken care of! She is the sweetest girl and I am so thankful I got her through Stellar Aussies!

Elizabeth was so responsive in my puppy search. She was quick to answer all the questions that a first time dog owner has, and even offered to bring Hinata (now Jo!) closer to where I live. Jo is such a sweet girl - she is so smart and has a playful personality - she’s the goodest girl there ever was!
