I'm Monica S., the breeder behind Stendachs located in Winchester, TN. I breed for myself first and foremost. I've been breeding and showing my pups for over 20 years and love what I do! I take pride in my program and show lines - three of my dogs are Westminster invites and two have shown there. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Why did you start breeding?
I showed dairy goats for 20 years and my family showed and bred dogs. I have and will only have one breed - Dachshunds! This is not a second income for me, but rather a passion. It's a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I have a mix of American and import dogs. The import additions have dogs in their pedigrees that were top dogs when I started showing 20 years ago. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and beauty of my quality puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.
