I'm Melinda S., the breeder behind Sterling Valleys Goldens and Aussies located in Carmel, IN. We strive to involve our puppy families in our process as much as possible. To help with this, we live stream our puppies from the moment they’re born to the day they go home! This helps let you into our home to see the interaction, playtime, environment, and care all of our dogs are receiving.

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to provide puppies with good homes. We also are educating our children on the importance of health testing and screening to find the perfect match for our girls.What makes your program special?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Melinda
Melinda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Valentine
In November 2021 Valentine went to her first Conformation show. She was a little nervous in the new environment at first but settled in beautifully. She loved trying to give the judge kisses. She did amazing taking two Seconds in both her classes. September of 2022 we took Valentine to an AKC show. We made her show conformation to get some jitters out and she placed third in her class. She did have a ton of fun though playing in FastCat. She got a total of four qualify runs reaching over 22 MPH on her first weekend ever competing! She will have her BCAT title in no time! February 2023 Valentine got her OFA eye clearance as well as her OFA advanced cardiac. Both passing certificates can be viewed below. April 2023 Valentine earned her CGC, TKN, and VHM titles! April 2023 Valentine ran a personal best at the GLKC FastCat clocking 23.929 MPH in only 8.548. This weekend finished her BCAT title! Next will be DCAT! June 2023 we got Valentine's genetic testing back and are thrilled that everything came back CLEAR! We also got Val's OFA hip and elbow ratings. We are THRILLED she received a rating of GOOD hips and normal elbows.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
