I'm Amanda S., the breeder behind Stockton Family Farm located in Bassfield, MS. As conscientious breeders, we are proud of the loving, smart, beautiful, and sound puppies we’re able to provide for others. We have a lifetime of experience raising puppies! We love the opportunity of walking new owners through the puppy process and we’re devoted to spending as much time as necessary to be sure you’re getting the perfect addition to welcome as a beloved companion!

Why did you start breeding?
I inherited our babies from my mom who is ageing and choose to downsize and relax some. I have been around her kennel for over 20 years and am in my fourth year of setting up my own program.What makes your program special?
I am a small breader who is dedicated to advancing only the best of the breed by using all tools available to me like genetic testing, and working closely with my vet to maintain the health of all of my babies. Not only are they living their best lives as working dogs on our farm but they are beloved family pets as well.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black & white, blue merle, dilute red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 19 Sept. •…First night on food. They are munching on dry food and went to town in wet food. They are by far the most calm and layback litter that we have had.

Litter update on 17 Mar. •…We went outside last night for the first time and was not fans of it and preferred my lap instead. They also got first taste of food and it was a big hit with most.

Litter update on 15 Mar. •Its been a day with four very large tornadoes coming at Bassfield. But all are good. The babies are good though and growing.

Litter update on 12 Mar. •…Their eyes are open and they are walking. Its an exciting week because they will be moving out of the baby room and into the main living area of the house to start getting used to all the new people, sounds, cats, and other dogs. They will also start having time out on the porch. Will get better pictures and videos once moved.

Litter update on 04 Mar. •…All eyes are open or opening and they are getting around really well and have found their voice. Of course as soon as I start video miss Lacey stops her bark howl but I am determined to get it eventually. Friday and Monday updates will not come till Tuesday evening bc we are headed out of town for a long weekend on Thursday but my mom will be here full time with the babies and momma and I have a baby cam I will be watching from.

About Katie
She is so gentle and sweet, adores kids and other animals, has history of herding when younger but she is aging, and this is her last litter. She is about 45 pounds and is a standard at 20 in.
