I'm Savanna B., the breeder behind StoneWall Dachshunds located in Denham Springs, LA. Hey! I’m Savanna, owner of StoneWall Dachshunds. With nearly 10 years as a veterinary technician, I’m passionate about breeding healthy, well-tempered Dachshunds. My puppies are raised in my home with love, and I provide lifelong, 24/7 support to every puppy family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding started with my first Dachshund, Tucker, born in 2012. He completely stole my heart and inspired me to learn everything I could about the breed. I trained him to hunt squirrels and rabbits, and he quickly became my best friend. What started with Tucker grew into a passion for breeding healthy, well-tempered Dachshunds that families can cherish for years to come.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are family first, and that philosophy carries over into every part of my program. I focus on raising healthy, well-socialized Dachshunds while building lasting relationships with my puppy families. Whether it’s day one or years later, I’m always just a call or message away. ❤️

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, black, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Savanna

Savanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Savanna partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Buyer does NOT choose desired puppy. Once the puppies have all been evaluated, Breeder will match puppies with the appropriate families. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Breeding Rights are NOT offered. Please do not ask for Full AKC Registration if the description states PET ONLY. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but can be transferred to another puppy or future litter within TWO (2) years of the deposit being paid. If the puppy Buyer reserved dies, the deposit will be refunded ASAP.”

Savanna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
