I'm Candi Lynn G., the breeder behind Stoney Mountain Mini Doxies located in Tower City, PA. Each of our dogs and puppies have brought so much happiness to us throughout their time with us. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.
Q. & A. with Candi Lynn
Why did you start breeding?
I got a dachshunds by chance while my husband was working in Afghanistan. She was my companion for 5 yrs while he was away. The bond we share had made me a huge advocate for the breed. I became disabled a few years ago, which now affords me the opportunity to be able to devote myself to the dogs. I want to get healthy, quality (breed standard) pups that will enhance the breed and make wonderful companions.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are my world. We raise all the pups in a family setting, we start socializing pups from 2 weeks. All our dogs are DNA and genetically tested to ensure that we are breeding responsibly (no double dapple or hidden dapple pairings) and doing what we can to prevent health issues.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, fawn (isabella) and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Candi was great. She was patient in answering all of my questions and guiding me through the process. My pup was healthy and clearly given so much love before she became mine.

Candi was so very helpful from start to finish! She would give me updates on how my little guy was doing through the process and continues to offer support since picking him up! My first visit to the vet was great as well - vet said my baby is absolutely gorgeous and most importantly healthy. Thank you, Candi!

Candy Lynn was great throughout our entire experience. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions. She went the extra mile by traveling herself with the pup from Pennsylvania all the way to CA—rather than hiring a travel pet nanny—to ensure he was taken care of and could meet us in person. We still communicate and I send her cute pics of our baby, even a month after getting him. He’s so sweet and cute. We love him so much!

Candi Lynn was so amazing! I had the best experience! My story is a little different my mother passed away 2021 I took her Dachshund Simon in after she passed. Simon become my best friend and we bonded so quickly as we both lost our mom. This past June Simon passed away. My heart was broken as it was the last thing left of my mom. I started to research I need a new baby I wasn’t done loving Simon and I knew I could give a puppy a great life. My son found Candi Lynn’s website. I immediately went on I found Carter he is a black fan just like Simon! I got in touch with Candi and I put my deposit down on my new baby! We made plans to meet for June 29 2024. Candi was great she met more than half way she drove all day. In the mean time my dad was in hospice he passed away July 16th. My new baby who I named Winston Lewis has helped my broken heart! I can’t say enough how wonderful Candi was.
