We strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. We are passionate about these dogs and look forward to sharing the breed with others who love it just as much as we do!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We love the temperament of Australian Labradoodles, and we knew they were the right breed for us. As responsible, ethical breeders, we play an important role in the future of the dog ecosystem. We are guardians for the future Australian Labradoodles. Our goal is to breed quality puppies and preserve the line of these incredible companions. We are working to get the breed a proper designation.
  • What makes your program special?

    At Stony Brook, we produce excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are also constantly improving our breeding program and work closely within the Australian Labradoodle community to do so.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from John

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

John may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
