I'm Diane S., the breeder behind Storm Pomeranians located in Ashland, NE. Our focus on breeding is to breed to our Breeds Standard. This means our Pom's are shown in the AKC Conformation Ring. Health, structure & temperament are the driving parts of our program. We do not breed just to have litters. All our dogs are AKC registered and come with a health guarantee.

Why did you start breeding?
In 2018 I sought out a breeder who had bred Pomeranians for over 45 years and had shown a Westminster Best In Show Winner. She shared valuable insight and information about the Pomeranian which included breeding principles, health practices, dominant and recessive genetics and breeding to do well in the AKC ring. Her sharing her expertise and experience in this breed will always be appreciated.What makes your program special?
My focus foremost is health, structure and disposition. No matter if the dogs are destined for AKC Conformation Ring or as a loving pet, this focus will never change. Each one is vet checked, with appropriate age vaccinations, wormed and micro chipped. I offer lifetime support for any Pom's I place and will always take a Pom back when life changes happen and you are no longer able to keep it.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, orange, black and tan, red sable, and orange sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
Getting a puppy from Diane

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Diane partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“This price includes, AKC registration, Vet Check, age-appropriate vaccinations and worming. Socialization, health guarantee, microchipped. AKC Show results if shown. Lifetime support. For Poms we place, we want them to go to homes where serious thought has been taken, and it is not just impulsive actions so they will be placed in good loving homes where they will cont to be loved.”

Parent health testing
Great level
Storm Pomeranians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pomeranians.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
