I'm Jessica L., the breeder behind Storybook Dachshunds located in Springfield, OR. We are a small program, who's goal is to breed healthy and loving family dogs. Getting a puppy from Jessica
Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our pups are provided with a limited AKC registration, a genetic health garauntee, vaccinated, wormed, and flea free. Deposits are not taken until after pups are born. Deposit will be refunded if we, for some reason, cannot provide you with your puppy. Otherwise non-refundable.”

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
