  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got our first doxie around 9 years ago and that’s when I knew I had fell in love with this breed . I wanted to learn everything about them and I’m still learning but now we have 6 babies that I’m just Inlove with and wanted to share my experience with others because this breed is beautiful and so affectionate and great family pets

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shannon

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Difference in price is if the puppies are Apri registered or Akc registered. Our deposit will hold your puppy for you and the remaining balance will be due at pick up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Shannon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Shannon was very professional and kept us updated throughout the whole process. She was very quick in answering any questions that we had and even provided extra information with many of her responses. She facetimed us and showed us all the babies that she currently had and we instantly fell in love with one of them. We fully paid through Good Dog and we picked him up about two weeks later. She provided all of his paperwork and even gave us a little gift bag that included toys, wipes, and a blanket with the mom's smell on it. When we met in person she was very friendly and allowed us to meet the mother and the baby at the same time. All of her dogs looked very healthy and she seemed like she cared about all of them deeply. This is our first puppy and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Shannon at Sugar Creek Mini Dixie’s was so helpful through the whole puppy process! She FaceTimed me when I showed interested in my future puppy to introduce us and tell me about the little pup.     We could not be happier with our experience with Shannon and Sugar Creek Mini Doxies. Shannon was very responsive to messages and called us on FaceTime so we could see our soon to be new baby. We arrived to pick up the baby and Shannon and her husband had him ready and waiting. He was well cared for and he came home with a blanket that smells like his home. He is adjusting well and is sooooooo loving. We are so thankful we found Shannon and Sugar Creek!

    Even from the beginning of when I reached out to Sugar Creek Mini Doxies about adopting my dog, they continuously kept me updated on my puppy, sent me pictures, and even started calling her by her name Phoebe. To this day, they respond to pictures I have sent and seem to genuinely care about what homes they send their puppies to. I had such an amazing experience with them. I could’ve have asked for a better miniature dachshund, and I would recommend anyone to adopt from them. I love Phoebe more than anything and she’s made such a good addition to my little family.
