



I'm Liz A., the breeder behind Summerwind Farm located in Red Bluff, CA. We are now breeding our Aussies to the best of sires and strive for healthy, long-lived puppies of stunning breed type, beautiful temperaments, correct structure with the ability to compete in an array of venues and sports. But above all, they need to be happy, fun, healthy, new family members. Ready to meet anyone on the hiking/jogging trail/sidewalk/beach with a smile and a pleasant greeting. Puppies are raised in our home and transition to the outside weather permitting. Individual attention and socialization is a continual and ongoing process till they move to their new families.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
